Graciela Kennally-Presslaff

In my piece, I added the quetzal bird which is on the Guatemalan flag. I have avocado on there as well, it was my baby food in Guatemala. Then I added monkeys because when I was living in Guatemala I lived on the border of the rainforest on the edge of Antigua and there were spider and howler monkeys. I also added fabrics which reminded me a lot of the fabrics we would have primarily from textile workers.
