Oral Histories

Leia Robinson, 2021

"I think a lot of my beliefs and foundational philosophies are just interacting with people with empathy and understanding and really getting to know who they are, what their identity is, and what they value. Especially as a teacher, I really try to do that with my kids because of my identity."

These oral histories contain the experiences of six transracial Asian adoptees who are current students or alumnus of Bryn Mawr College. Feel free to listen to the audio or read the transcripts.

*These oral histories exist to demonstrate the wide range of experiences and perspectives within the Transracial Asian Adoptee Community, they are not meant to reflect the opinions of the creator of the site.
